Amalia Saraswati is 32 years old and has several years of domestic helper experience in Surabaya, Indonesia.

Her first employer was from 2018 to 2020. She worked for a family of three consisting of Sir, Ma’am and Ah Ma. Her main responsibility was caring for Ah Ma who suffers from diabetes. Amalia assisted Ah Ma with her daily activities such as helping her move around the house, preparing meals, reminding and managing her medication, and accompanying her to hospital appointments. Besides caregiving, she also handled general housekeeping such as cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and ironing clothes, and she cooked for the family.

From 2021 to 2025, Amalia worked for another family of three in Surabaya. Her main duty was caring for a 6-month-old baby until the child reached 4 years old. She handled tasks such as preparing milk, feeding the baby, changing diapers, bathing the baby, putting the child to sleep, and engaging the child in play and learning activities as the baby grew into a toddler. In addition, she managed the general housework including cleaning the house, laundry, ironing, and maintaining a tidy home. She also cooked for the family and can prepare simple dishes such as fried rice, fried noodles, steamed egg, steamed fish and other basic home-cooked meals.

Amalia is experienced in both elderly care and childcare and is willing to continue learning.
